哪些动词后接动名词时完成体和一般体意义相同

1.英语里有一些动词如：recall，deny, forget, regret, remember, admit, repent, recollect, apologize, confess, excuse, thank.等动词之后，动名词一般形式和完成体动名词所表达的含义相同，都表示动作发生在谓语动词所表示的动作之前。

如

He didn’t recall saying it.=He didn’t recall having said it.

他想不起来说过这件事。

I deny/denied taking it.= I deny/denied having taken it.我否认我拿了它。

I'll never forget hearing this piece of music for the first time.=

I'll never forget having heard this piece of music for the first time.

我永远不会忘记第一次听到这首曲子的情景。

Do you remember switching the lights off before we came out?=

Do you remember having switched the lights off before we came out?

你记得我们出来之前关灯了吗？

He bitterly regretted ever mentioning it.=

He bitterly regretted ever having mentioned it

他非常懊悔提起那件事。

I admit seeing it.=I admit having seen it.我承认我看到了它。

Darren repented shooting the bird.=

Darren repented having shot the bird.

达伦后悔射杀了那只鸟。

I don’t recollect seeing her before.=

I don’t recollect having seen her before.

我想不起来从前看见过她。

I apologized to Mary for losing her ticket.=

I apologized to Mary for having lost her ticket.

我想玛丽道歉弄丢了她的票。

2.要特别注意，这些词后接的动词如果是静态的动词，一般只接其非完成体形式的动名词。如：

I admit knowing him.

我承认我认识他。

I must confess to knowing nothing about computers.

我得承认对电脑一窍不通。

He confessed to being guilty.

他承认自己有罪。

这个句子就是一个例外：

He confessed to having been a bundle of nerves.

他承认自己一直神经极度紧张。

此外，在after等介词后，动名词的一般式也表示动名词完成式的意义。

After winning the prize she became famous overnight.=

After having won the prize she became famous overnight.
